Samsung brings One UI 5 Watch features to previous Galaxy watches

Samsung has officially announced a new software update for its Galaxy series based on Wear OS 4One UI 5 Watch. The update introduces new features and improvements to the Galaxy Watch 5, which is the first device to receive it. Other models, such as the Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 3, and Active 2, will get it in the near future.

One UI 5 Watch enhances Samsung’s health and fitness tracking with Sleep Coaching and heart rate zones. The Sleep Coaching feature provides personalized guidance and tasks to improve sleep quality based on sleep patterns. Heart rate zones assist in monitoring and optimizing cardio workouts by displaying the intensity of heart activity.

Furthermore, it also adds new watch faces that suit different styles and moods. Some of these watch faces were launched with the Galaxy Watch 6, which runs One UI 5 Watch by default. The Galaxy Watch 6 is Samsung’s latest smartwatch that offers minor hardware enhancements over the previous generation.

One UI 5 Watch is a welcome update for Samsung’s Galaxy Watch users who want to enjoy the advantages of Wear OS 4 and Samsung’s own innovations. The update is available now for the Galaxy Watch 5 and will reach other models in the coming weeks.
