Samsung Galaxy S23 gets massive August 2023 update in Korea

Samsung Galaxy S23 series is receiving a massive size August 2023 security update in Korea, following its availability in Canada, the US, and Thailand. The update improves system security, stability, Calling function, and more to provide better performance.

August 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones in Korea comes with the One UI version S911NKSU2AWGJ, S916NKSU2AWGJ, and S918NKSU2AWGJ respectively. Users will have to download around a 1.2 GB package to install the update.

The fresh update is refining the method for displaying call wallpaper and caller ID in the Phone app settings. In the My Files app, users will find improved usability for storage analysis.

Furthermore, the August 2023 patch addresses a range of CVEs while fixing vulnerabilities associated with the Galaxy Store, Internet Browser, and Members apps, strengthening the device’s security against threats.
