Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 getting first One UI 5.1.1 update

Samsung has started releasing the first One UI 5.1.1 software update for carrier-unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone models. The update is rolling out on the US T-Mobile network, and other carriers will soon grab it.

The latest update installs the Android security patch released in August 2023 to improve system security. The fresh patch fixes many issues mainly related to the Galaxy Store, Internet, and Members app.

August 2023 security update for unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone comes with F731U1UES1AWH3 and an installation package size of 377.29 MB. This update is already available for locked variants.

You can install the latest update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install. This update should not affect your personal data but it is always a good idea to back up your data just in case.
