Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra might boast 320-megapixel camera

Samsung introduced a 200-megapixel camera sensor with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It could continue to arrive in future Galaxy S Ultra models, with an upgraded 320-megapixel camera rumored for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

In the latter half of 2024, the company could be unveiling three new ISOCELL camera sensors. Tipster who revealed the upcoming sensors just disclosed that Samsung products might not use any of the cameras.

The source says that a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP7 camera was initially planned for Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, Samsung may equip the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a 320-megapixel sensor, skipping the upgrade to the 2025’s Ultra.

Sequential upgrades to Galaxy smartphones will surely be introduced by Samsung. However, it’s quite early to discuss on a device, which could go official in early 2026. Do take this rumor as a grain of salt.
