Samsung embarks on One UI 6.1 journey, building anticipation for Galaxy S24 debut

Galaxy users are waiting for their chance to get the One UI 6 Beta, while, Samsung is a step ahead. For the Galaxy S24, Samsung has started to develop firmware, which should be One UI 6.1. Notably, S24 will be the first Samsung smartphone lineup to debut with Android 14 pre-installed.

We are hearing more and more about Galaxy S24 flagships. Most of the key specs have already been revealed and we are not too away from design unveiling. At the same time, the company has begun the development of possible One UI 6.1 for the standard Galaxy S24, as spotted by Tarun Vats.

The very first build carries a PDA version number ending with AWH4. It has been under development for the base Galaxy S24, with US carrier CSC. With the new One UI iteration, Samsung will introduce additional new features and AI capabilities for sure!

The South Korean tech giant is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 series in February 2024. The devices will be available in two different chipset variants – Exynos in Europe, Africa and parts of Asia, while Snapdragon in China, the US and South Korea.
