According to KoreaDaily, Samsung SDS has decided to name its security-enhanced generative AI for businesses as FabrlX and plans to reveal it to clients and media on September 12. It’s the first time when Samsung’s in-house generative AI solution has been disclosed to the outside world.

Notably, Samsung SDS also completed an application for the FabrlX trademark with the Korean Intellectual Property Office last month. Due to ChatGPT and Bard, the company decided to develop its own generative AI as security issues emerged as an issue.

The use of generative AI to increase work efficiency is an unavoidable trend, but when security issues surfaced, it started developing its own. To this end, Samsung Elec joined hands with Samsung SDS, so generative AI to be used by companies, combined with the cloud alongside high security.

Open generative AI like ChatGPT learns as data is input from the outside, but for businesses, unlike this, a closed internal cloud is combined with AI. Samsung SDS has accumulated know-how while doing cloud management service (MSP) business.
