Google Play Services settings page gets a major makeover

Google Play Services is the app that powers many of Google’s features on Android devices, and now it’s getting a major makeover. The app’s settings page has been redesigned to make it easier and faster to access the most important settings.

The new Settings page has two tabs – “Recommended” and “All Services”. The Recommended tab shows some of the key settings that are relevant to the user, such as account security, backup and restore, location, and payments. The “All Services” tab shows a complete list of settings for all Google services the user has enabled on their device, such as Assistant, Photos, Drive, and more.

The new user interface of the Setting Page is being gradually rolled out to users who have updated Google Play Services to version 23.33.14 or higher. The update was first spotted by tipster Mishaal Rahman, who shared screenshots of the new design on Twitter. He added that he has seen the new UI only on one of his devices, so it may not be available to everyone yet.
