Samsung appears to be preparing to break all peak brightness records with its Galaxy S24 Ultra screen next year. Since iPhone 14 Pro display can reach up to 2000 nits outdoor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra screen features a peak brightness of 1750 nits.

According to a new rumor, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra supports 2200 nits at full brightness. Meanwhile, another trusted leaker pointed out that the peak brightness is even higher on the device. Besides, it’s possible that the S24 Ultra panel’s peak brightness could reach up to 2500/2800 nits.

It’s worth mentioning that Samsung Display is in touch with Samsung Electronics. As the Exynos chipset is returning in select regions, the company could be using an upgraded M13 OLED panel in its next Galaxy flagships. Notably, the new panel will debut on Apple iPhone 16 lineup next year.

Unibezel

Unibezel isn’t a commonly used term in the smartphone world, while the tipster claimed S24 Ultra could be a unibezel device. This means the bezels all around the screen could be uniformed in the same measurement, ditching the curved edges from both sides.
