Your Galaxy S23 Ultra may be Samsung’s last curved screen phone!

The Galaxy S23 Ultra may be Samsung’s last smartphone with a curved screen. With the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the company may be ending the use of curved displays. A series of leaked data suggests that the next year’s Ultra flagship may ship with a flat-screen design.

Since the Galaxy Note “Edge” was shipped with a curved display from the edges, Samsung could be ending it after all. In recent years, the company has significantly decreased curved screen flagship from its portfolio, with only Ultra coming with it, starting the S21 series.

There are different opinions out there on the rumors of a flat screen on Samsung’s next flagship. While some fans are in favor, some pledging to stick to the S23 Ultra as they love using curved-screen devices. Notably, Apple doesn’t have any curved display iPhone in its lineup and Google’s killing it too.

Samsung appears to be following Google’s footsteps as it’s going to ship its Pixel 8 Pro with a flat display. If the rumor is correct, the company may bring a brighter and more durable panel to the S24 Ultra. If it does, S23 Ultra will be the last Samsung flagship featuring a curved panel design.
