Avatar Reaction rolling out to WhatsApp Status in Beta [Preview]
The Avatar Reaction feature is now rolling out to WhatsApp Status in Beta. With the WhatsApp Beta 2.23.18.9 version, the platform is allowing testers to react on Status through Avatar.
Once updated to the latest Beta, WhatsApp will allow you to react on Status with an Avatar. However, this doesn’t mean the emoji reaction ability is abandoned with the addition of the Avatar reaction.

Since the feature has been distributed to a limited number of Beta testers, WhatsApp’s future Stable release is likely to bring a number of changes including the Avatar Reaction. You can check the feature’s preview below.
Avatar would allow users to better express their emotions, transcending the limitations often posed by the concise language of emojis. And hopefully, the application will further enhance this new function prior to its official debut.
