Earlier this year, Samsung faced huge criticism over fake Moon shots and system storage metrics. Samsung clarified through an official post about Scene Optimizer’s use in Moon Shots, while its Android 14-based One UI 6 update addresses the system storage havoc.

As spotted by Max Weinbach (via 9to5Google), Samsung updated the system storage metrics, making it more accurate in Android 14-based One UI 6. In the S23 series, the One UI 5.1 software displays system files occupied a whopping 60GB of storage, which is about 25% of the 256GB variant.
