Samsung has kicked off a big-size update with an August 2023 security patch for Galaxy S23 series smartphones in Europe. The latest patch is already available in Korea, India, Canada, the US, and the Middle East.

The latest update improves system security and stability to provide a seamless and better performance. Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series in Europe can identify the latest August 2023 security update through the One UI build versions mentioned below.

  • Galaxy S23 – S911BXXU3AWGJ
  • Galaxy S23 Plus – S91B6XXU3AWGJ
  • Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918BXXU3AWGJ

The installtion package size of this update is around 1.3GB, which is much larger than a regular security patch. However, no new changes or features are mentioned in the changelog the package size of this update is big, so it brings new camera features.

August 2023 Android security patch brings fixes for over 60 security flaws including different levels of CVEs. In addition, several stock apps including Clock, Samsung Members, Calculator, Smart Switch, and Voice Recorder will be updated to the latest version after the new software update.
