Trademark registration is a common procedure performed before the launch of a product or service. Notably, the company has also submitted a priority review application to expedite the trademark registration process for “Samsung Gauss” on August 31.

If we infer based on what Samsung described, Gauss appears to be a generative AI-related patent. The Korean tech giant is currently preparing self-generated AI for executives and employees through collaboration with Samsung SDS and others.

Samsung Electronics said, “It is difficult to confirm information related to trademark rights.”
