Google is rolling out the September 2023 update for Pixel Watch users. The update includes the latest security patch level for September 2023 to improve system security. The build number for the global rollout is RWDC.230905.003.

According to the changelog, the update does not bring any new features or changes except for the security patch. The patch fixes some vulnerabilities that could affect the performance and security of the Pixel Watch.

The update should have been available last week, but it was delayed due to some issues affecting the phones. However, Pixel Watch users can expect to receive the update soon, as Google announced that the OTA rollout for all devices will begin on September 11. The only exception is Canada, where the update will start rolling out on September 18. The reason for this gap is unknown.

To check for the update, Pixel Watch users can go to Settings > System > System updates and tap on the “Your watch is up to date” screen multiple times. This should trigger the download process. To speed it up, users can also disable Bluetooth and connect to Wi-Fi.
