Samsung is reportedly scrapping its strategy to reduce semiconductor production. A new report suggests that the company has fully recovered 16-nano (1z) DRAM production by over 100% since the beginning of this month.

According to the report, Samsung will quickly reduce artificial production cuts for other semiconductor products starting with the recovery of 16-nano DRAM production, abandoning the previous strategy to trim production.

Regarding the suspension of semiconductor production cuts, Samsung said, “It is an issue that cannot be confirmed,” and added, “The suspension of production cuts and production recovery can be officially confirmed during the next performance conference call.”
