Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra May Drop 10x Optical Zoom Camera

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S24 series in early 2024. We are months away from the official debut, but a new rumor claims a big camera disadvantage in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

According to IceUniverse, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra could lack a 10x optical zoom camera. A few days back, the same source revealed the same input but later deleted the X post, saying details are yet to be analyzed.

In its recent X post, Ice shared camera samples of the Galaxy S23 Ultra at 1x, 10x, 30x and 100x zoom. In the same post, he was concerned about the Galaxy S24 Ultra, claiming that it removes the 10x optical zoom camera.

Back in 2021, Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which initiated the dual Telephoto sensor strategy. Since then, the company’s new Ultra flagships offered 10x optical zoom camera alongside a 3x solution.
