Samsung appears to be ditching the 10x optical zoom camera from its next year’s Ultra flagship. A trusted tipster today revealed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will come with a 5x camera with 50-megapixel resolution.
Since the launch of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the company has been bringing the 10x zoom camera to the Ultra variants. Meanwhile, the next year’s Galaxy S Ultra might disappoint you if you frequently use the 10x zoom.

The input says that Galaxy S24 Ultra could bring the same 50-megapixel 5x solution as the Xiaomi 13 Pro. It’s worth mentioning that, the last year’s Xiaomi 13 Pro is equipped with 50MP 1/2.52″ 0.7μm sensor for both 3x and 5x.
