Samsung expands Android 14 One UI 6 Beta to Galaxy Z Fold 4, Fold 3, Flip 4 and Flip 3 in October

Samsung has been rolling out the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update to its flagship phones and some mid-range devices since last month. It brings a fresh look and feel, along with new features and improvements. Now, a piece of new information reveals that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3 will get the One UI 6.0 Beta update in October 2023.

According to the Samsung Community Forum Moderator, the company will also release the One UI 6.0 beta update next month to its previous-generation foldable phones including Galaxy Z Flip 4, Flip 3, Fold 4, and Fold 3. This is the first time that Samsung is offering the One UI beta update to so many phones, including even older foldable phones.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will reportedly get the One UI 6.0 beta update before the end of this month. One UI 6.0 is expected to be released to most compatible Samsung phones and tablets before the end of this year.

To register for the beta program, users need to install the Samsung Members app, sign in with their Samsung account, and tap the One UI 6.0 Beta Program banner on the app’s home screen. Then, manually install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install.
