Exploring Samsung’s Next Software Update: One UI 6.1 Features and Release

Samsung’s One UI 6 is launching next month, while we are talking about the One UI 6.1. All Galaxy flagships eligible for Android 14 will receive the One UI 6.1 update in Q2 next year. And the Galaxy S24 series will come pre-loaded with this new software version.

With its One UI 6 update, Samsung will introduce a redesigned Quick Panel, better cross-device integration, and plenty of useful features. However, the One UI 6.1 update will bring select Galaxy S24 features to Samsung’s best smartphones such as the S23 and S22 series.

When it’s coming?

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 series in February next year. The rollout of One UI 6.1 could begin within a month of launch, expected in March 2024. Devices like the Galaxy S23 and S22 series will be the first to grab the One UI 6.1 features and changes.

The Galaxy maker has not announced the One UI 6.1 software, but it was teased in the recent Good Lock 2024 announcement. The Korean community’s moderator mentioned that the One UI 6.1 will address LockStar and ClockFace app’s problem as well as a new Keys Cafe feature is under development.
