Samsung’s Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update brings 120 FPS support to the Screen Recording feature. As the company continues to enhance the new One UI in Beta, new features and bug fixes are coming with continuous Beta updates.

As discovered (via SamMobile), Samsung’s native Screen Recording feature has been updated with new 120 FPS support with the One UI 6 Beta 5 release. It brings the ability to record videos at a frame rate higher than 60 frames per second (fps).

Flagship and premium mid-range Samsung devices are equipped with 120Hz refresh rate display panels. Except for select mid-range models, other Galaxy smartphones have up to 90Hz refresh rate screens. Thankfully, the screen recording experience will be a lot better with the Stable software release.

With higher refresh rate support, Samsung phone’s screen recording clip will display smoother transitions as you watch on the screen while using the device. 120 FPS support makes recorded clips look smoother when played back on a device with a high refresh rate display.
