T-Mobile bug lets you Unlock Samsung, Google phones immediately

Published

Samsung June 2024 week I update

Samsung and Google phones can be unlocked from T-Mobile branding given an unlock bug. Network carriers sell carrier-locked smartphones in the US. Consumers usually prefer buying a carrier-locked handset to save a ton of money.

In return, the carriers ensure that the device stays bound for a certain timeframe. After the given period, consumers can opt out of carrier services and switch their network provider. A T-Mobile unlock bug seems to be here which Samsung and Google users never want to be fixed.

PhoneArena reports that a user found a surprising bug in carrier carrier-branded smartphone. Devices sold by Metro can be unlocked, with no strings attached. Some T-Mobile consumers also managed to unlock their Samsung and Google phones even before EIP ended.

For a Pixel handset, download the T-Mobile Device Unlock (Pixel) from the Play Store. Follow the basic steps to Unlock your Pixel device. Samsung users discovered that it can be unlocked from carrier-branding through easy steps.

Samsung users just need to open the Settings apps, go to Connections, tap on More Connection Setting, select Network Unlock, and then request a Temporary Unlock. Once done, wait some time and tap on Permanent Unlock – it’s done.

People have been able to unlock the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Flip 2, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold 5, Pixel 7, and Tab A9 Plus.

While the bug is letting users unlock their devices, we recommend you don’t perform such action. Network carriers have agreements with consumers, if violated, your connection might be blocked and you could be required to pay the remaining amount.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 look hot, you can’t deny

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 design are revealed through high-res images. Both phones are yet to go official, while an Australian retailer accidentally listed extensive galleries of all color variants online.

The upcoming foldable phones adopted design ideas from the Galaxy S24 series. It can be assumed that the edges will be “straight cut” in the future as they are significantly less rounded than before.

In particular, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a more angular design, while it’s less in the Z Flip 6. Samsung’s next book-style foldable smartphone looks more like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, rather than the previous Fold.

Samsung’s Z Flip 6 seems to use the same cover screen as the previous Flip phone. There’s no significant change in terms of design, however, it could be brighter and smoother with an increased refresh rate.

As far as the colorways are concerned, we may see new Yellow and Pink shades for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, respectively. These are the new colors, with a handful of standard and exclusive colors would be available too.

Both foldable phones are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with 12Gb of RAM and 256Gb and 512Gb storage. However, Samsung may also avail 1TB storage variant of the Z Fold 6 as an online exclusive variant.
