Samsung has announced the details of the October 2023 security patch, which includes CVE and SVE items to enhance security. The company has already begun releasing the latest October 2023 security patch for Galaxy devices.
The October 2023 security patch from Samsung addresses 2 critical and 32 high levels of CVEs for the Android operating system. However, 1 CVE was resolved by previous updates from the company, and 1 is not relevant to Galaxy devices.
Besides Google patches, Samsung offers 12 SVE items to improve user experience. The latest security patch fixes various issues related to Evaluator, Duo, Buffer Overflow in HDCP trustlet, system property, and more.
