Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite receiving October 2023 security update

Samsung is sending a new update for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, which installs the latest Android security patch released in October 2023 to improve system security and stability. The update is currently rolling out in Argentina and the company will soon expand this update in more countries.

October 2023 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite smartphone can be identified through One UI build version P619XXS4BWI1. It is a regular update so it does not contain any new features except the monthly security patch.

The latest Android security patch mends more than 40 security flaws, which are mainly related to Evaluator, Duo, Buffer Overflow in HDCP trustlet, system property, and more.

You can check and install the October 2023 security update on your smartphone through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. If any update is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to install the update on your Galaxy smartphone.
