October 2023 One UI update rolling out to Galaxy A52s and A14

Samsung’s October 2023 patch is now available for two more Galaxy smartphones. The Galaxy A52s 5G and Galaxy A14 are getting the October 2023 One UI update in Europe and Bolivia, respectively.

Users can identify Samsung’s October 2023 One UI update via PDA build versions A528BXXS5EWJ1 and A145MUBS3AWI1 for the Galaxy A52s and Galaxy A14 (LTE), respectively.

The South Korean tech giant is rolling out a maintenance release for various Galaxy smartphones as part of the monthly Security Maintenance Release process. This SMR package includes patches from Google and Samsung.

Notably, Samsung provides SVE items (described here) to improve our customer’s confidence in the security of Galaxy devices. Besides security improvements, the firmware doesn’t bring new features or functional changes.
