Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra shows impressive performance boost with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor

We have recently reported that Samsung has finalized the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 venue and timeframe. In a recent development, the US variant of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, was spotted on Geekbench.

According to the info, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy (Pineapple) has been spotted on Geekbench 6 with model number SM-S928U. The device scored 2,234 points in the single-core and 6,807 points in the multi-core tests.

In addition, the benchmark reveals that the Galaxy S24 Ultra has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 14 out of the box. The chip apparently features one Cortex-X4 CPU @ 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 CPU cores @ 3.15GHz, two Cortex-A720 CPU cores @ 2.96GHz, and two Cortex-A520 CPU cores @ 2.27GHz.

It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy S23 Ultra featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy manages to score 1,895 points in the single-core and 5,062 points in the multi-core CPU performance test. However, there are rumors that the 8 Gen 3’s GPU is 40% more powerful than the 8 Gen 2.
