October 2023 update live for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, XCover Pro, and XCover6 Pro

Samsung is releasing a new update with the October 2023 security patch for Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy XCover Pro, and Galaxy XCover6 Pro smartphones. The update improves the security and stability of the device.

October 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy XCover Pro is live in the US while XCover6 Pro users are getting this update in Central Asia.

October 2023 security patch fixes 2 critical and 32 high levels of CVEs for the Android operating system. However, 1 CVE was resolved by previous updates from the company, and 1 is irrelevant to Galaxy devices.

Besides Google patches, Samsung offers 12 SVE items to improve user experience. It is mainly related to Evaluator, Duo, Buffer Overflow in HDCP trustlet, system property, and more.
