Samsung provides a temporary solution for Smart Switch app crash issue

Some Samsung Galaxy users have encountered a problem with the Smart Switch app. As per the users, the Samsung Smart Switch app is not working properly and is freezing or force closing due to which they cannot use it.

However, Samsung has acknowledged this issue and offered a solution for its customers. Users can either disable the Remove Animation function before using the Smart Switch app or update the app to the latest version through Galaxy Store or Play Store, which has fixed the compatibility issue.

The Remove Animation option is a feature that improves the visibility of the screen by removing unnecessary animations. However, it seems to be interfering with the latest version of the Smart Switch app (3.7.47.6), causing it to crash or freeze.

You can easily disable the Remove Animation’ function, just need to follow a few steps. Firstly open Settings >> Accessibility >> Visibility enhancements >> Remove animation >> Tap on the toggle to turn it off. And to update the Smart Switch app, users have to visit Galaxy Store >> Menu option >> Updates.
