Samsung reveals 7 user suggestions fueled in One UI 6.0 – Here’s the list

Samsung recently thanked participants of the One UI 6 Beta Program for sharing ideas and suggestions. In a surprising move, Samsung also revealed 7 user suggestions that have been implemented in the latest Beta version of the One UI 6.0 software.

Back in August, the company started the One UI 6 Beta Program, which is still running. While Galaxy S23 smartphone users are waiting for the Stable Android 14 update, Samsung disclosed ideas and suggestions shared by users that have helped it nourish the One UI 6 software.

Shared by @tarunvats33 on X, the latest One UI 6 Beta firmware features improved animations for app opening and closing operation. Users demanded date and time information in the Quick Panel View, which has been implemented as well.

Apart from this, the extended view of the media player has been also applied in the software. Beta community also played a vital role in making Samsung improve the color and details of emoji, as well as the visibility of icons and text in the Quick Panel.

The suggestions list includes a reduction in the app icon size for both the Apps screen and Home screen. Last but not least, the One UI developers have also adjusted the background transparency of the back gesture icon hearing from the Beta participants.

The following changes have been implemented:

  1. Improved animations when opening and closing applications
  2. Added date and time information in the Quick Panel View
  3. Introduced extended view of media player
  4. Improved color and details of emoji
  5. Improved visibility of icons and text in the Quick Panel
  6. Reduced the size of application icons on the home screen and on the application screen
  7. Adjusted the background transparency of the back gesture icon
