Lee tours Samsung’s next-gen semiconductor R&D complex construction site
On October 19, Samsung Boss Lee Jae-yong visited Samsung’s Giheung/Hwaseong campus to tour the next-generation semiconductor R&D complex construction site and review the semiconductor strategy.
It’s worth noting that Samsung’s next-generation semiconductor R&D complex being built at the Giheung campus is expected to serve as a key research base leading future semiconductor technology.

Lee called for a turning point in innovation that will enable the semiconductor business to take a leap forward once again as internal and external crises continue and emphasized the importance of technological leadership.
Samsung’s Chairman received a report on the development status of next-gen semiconductor technology at a management meeting and discussed ways to improve competitiveness in all semiconductor fields, including:
