Samsung Galaxy S24 series to boast Made In India batteries as well

Samsung has apparently added a fourth battery supplier for the Galaxy S24 series. Evidence suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be powered by batteries from a supplier in India as well. Notably, the company already had three battery suppliers for its next flagship lineup.

According to a report, Samsung now has a fourth supplier for the upcoming Galaxy S24 series batteries. This fourth supplier, named Navitasys India, is based in India, hinting that the company is further boosting the local government’s Make In India initiative.

Besides, Samsung SDI Vietnam, China’s Ningde Amperex Technology Limited, and ELENTEC India are already on the Galaxy S24 Plus’ battery suppliers list.

Galaxy Unpacked 2024

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series could go official in January next year. The company may unveil three new S series phones at a Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, USA. Over the S23 lineup, the next year’s flagships boast significant hardware upgrades, as revealed by leaks so far.
