Samsung Galaxy S23 June 2024 update Europe

A Samsung moderator earlier confirmed that the Android 14-based One UI 6 Beta ends this week. It indicates the Galaxy S23 series will start getting the Stable One UI 6 update soon. It’s going to be a big deal you know, thus, some preparations should be done at the earliest.

If you’ve enrolled for the Beta Program and running the One UI 6 Beta 9 on your Galaxy S23, you will get a tiny Stable build in the coming days. As confirmed by the moderator, the recently released Beta 9 was the last Beta firmware of the Program, clearing the path for the Stable update rollout.

Regular Galaxy S23 users are expected to start getting the Stable One UI 6 update soon. The initial release will be capped to select markets, probably Korea, the US, and Europe. However, the expansion will happen rapidly as Samsung impressively refined its software segment.

How to stay prepared?

The public One UI 6 software build will weigh approximately 2.5 GB for the Galaxy S23 series. Based on region and carrier, the build’s size will vary, such as network carriers fuel some carrier-dedicated services as well as additional security patches.

Android 14 will be a major release, so it’s necessary to create a backup of your personal data. There’s quite a low chance of concerns like smartphone brick, but, it could be the worst case. You can create a backup in advance so the update installation will remain the only thing to do when it begins.

Staying connected to a stable network connection is recommended to have a seamless installation experience. You should connect your phone with WiFi, as part of providing it unmetered internet. Battery should be charged, which you can manage on the fly!
