Google Android Auto 10.7 update to let you use phone’s wallpaper on car screen
Google Android Auto is getting a new update with version 10.7, which will let you use your phone’s wallpaper on the car screen. The update is rolling out now for Android devices, but the wallpaper feature is not enabled yet.
The update does not have any visible changes, but the code reveals some clues about what’s coming next. One of them is a new setting that would allow users to use their phone’s wallpaper in Android Auto. This would make the car screen more personalized and consistent with the phone’s look.

However, the wallpaper would only be visible under the app drawer, as the dashboard view covers most of the screen. Other features that are hinted at in the code are some battery tweaks (possibly for electric vehicles ) and some changes to how apps can require the vehicle to be parked.
It is unclear when these features will be available for Android Auto users. For now, you can still choose from a variety of wallpapers that Android Auto offers.
