Earlier this month, Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone. The device comes pre-installed with Android 13-based One UI 5 software. However, there are clues that suggest Samsung might ship the Galaxy S23 FE with Android 14-based One UI 6 pre-installed in Europe.

According to the info, Samsung is testing the Galaxy S23 FE with Android 14-based One UI 6 in Europe. This confirms that the device will go official and bring the latest operating system. If it happens, it will be a big advantage for consumers in the European continent.

In case the company decides to ship the S23 FE with Android 14, it will be upgradable to Android 18. At the same time, the Galaxy S23 is eligible for major upgrades up to Android 17, totaling 4 of the promises. The latest Fan Edition is expected to go on sale in Europe by early next year.

It’s possible that Samsung might announce an additional year of OS upgrade to S23 FE owners in certain markets. GalaxyClub notes that the company offered the Android 7.0 update to Galaxy S5 Neo in Canada, which ended support on Android 6 in the Global market.
