Google destroys Samsung and Apple majesty with Pixel 8 Pro display efficiency
Samsung’s most advanced OLED display debuted with Google’s latest Pixel 8 series. The advanced OLED display featuring the M13 material set of Google Pixel 8 Pro is resulting in stunning efficiency over the industry leaders including Samsung and Apple.
XDA’s Dylan Raga revealed through X that the display of Pixel 8 Pro can apparently attain the peak brightness of its predecessor using only 47% of the power. While the Pixel 7 Pro requires 6.4W to achieve 960 nits, the Pixel 8 Pro took just 3W for the same.

During the event, Google showcased Super Actua display tech, which is unquestionably helping the Pixel 8 Pro lead the power efficiency over Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra and Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max. Both Pixel rivals require at least 4W 4W of power to reach 960 nits.
