Samsung Galaxy A54, A53 getting October 2023 update in Brazil

Samsung Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54 smartphones are receiving a fresh firmware update with an October 2023 security update in Brazil. The new update makes these devices more secure and reliable, as well as providing error-free performance.

At the moment, Samsung is rolling out the October 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54 devices in Brazil. However, these smartphones already received the update in some countries.

October 2023 Security Patch 

The latest security patch addresses 2 critical and 32 high levels of CVEs for the Android operating system. However, 1 CVE was resolved by previous updates from the company, and 1 is not relevant to Galaxy devices.

Besides Google patches, Samsung offers 12 SVE items to improve user experience. The latest security patch fixes various issues related to Evaluator, Duo, Buffer Overflow in HDCP trustlet, system property, and more.

How to update

You can check and install the October 2023 security update on your smartphone through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. If any update is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to install the update on your Galaxy smartphone.
