Samsung is not only updating its Galaxy S23 series with the stable Android 14 firmware, but also working on improving the software experience of its latest foldable device, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The company has rolled out the One UI 6 beta 4 update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.

One UI 6 Beta 4 update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone arrives with firmware version F946BXXU1ZWJH and an installation package size of 776.97 MB. This fresh is currently available in India.

The latest beta update fixes some bugs and enhances the overall software stability of the Galaxy Z Fold 5. However, it also has a known issue with the minimize/close button in Samsung DeX mode, which can disappear when using split screen mode.

Importantly, the update brings the November 2023 security patch to improve system security. This patch includes fixes for various vulnerabilities and threats that affect Android devices.

Users who want to try the new beta update can download it from their phone’s settings, but they should back up their data before doing so, as beta software can be unstable and unpredictable. Samsung is expected to release the stable Android 14 and One UI 6 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 soon.
