Samsung intensifies legal clash with Chinese OLED maker over patents and IP in the US
Back in January, Samsung filed a motion with the US ITC regarding AMOLED display import manufactured by BOE. Well now, Samsung Display filed another complaint against the Chinese display maker with the US Trade Commission over OLED patent infringement and IP.
According to OLEDinfo report, the South Korean tech giant filed a new complaint in the US Trade Commission (ITC) against BOE. Samsung’s complaint mentions that the Chinese OLED firm is infringing on Samsung Display’s OLED patents and IP.

As the legal clash continues, the tension between both display makers is on the rise. As part of a counterattack over IP dispute, the South Korean giant canceled the use of AMOLED panels manufactured by BOE in future Galaxy devices.
