Merck joins Samsung to develop OLEDoS (XR display)
In an interview with ETNews, the head of Merck’s display solution business revealed that Merck is participating as a partner in the development of Samsung OLEDoS (XR display). Damien also emphasized that Merck’s display and semiconductor businesses are creating synergy.
To recall, OLEDoS is a display that implements ultra-high resolution on a small screen of about 1 inch. Sony first commercialized it with Apple’s Vision Pro, and Samsung Display is also pursuing its release with its upcoming XR headset.
