Samsung and Naver to introduce smart office buildings

In a recent development, Samsung and Naver Cloud signed an MOU for cooperation to accelerate the growth of future intelligence smart office buildings in South Korea and the global market.

Samsung plans to introduce a specialized package product to provide an integrated solution for B2B customers by linking SmartThings and 5G with Naver Cloud’s solution applied to the new Naver 1784 headquarters.

The South Korean tech giant aims to realize smart “Calm-Tech” with devices, solutions, and services that link and efficiently manage all devices in an office building, internal and external solutions, and services.

Both companies, in particular, plan to build a total platform for a future intelligent office building that expands to be user-centered, enabling integrated building control, energy access, and security management.
