Samsung to boost semiconductor business with HBM3 supply to NVIDIA

Before NVIDIA, the South Korean tech giant succeeded in supplying HBM3 to AMD in the US. While AMD’s market isn’t large, NVIDIA holds more than 90% of the share in the AI GPU market.
SK Hynix as a latecomer?
Industry watchers predict that Samsung’s HBM market share could surpass SK Hynix by the second half of next year. An insider says, “Samsung Electronics’ HBM market share may exceed 50% in the second half of next year.”
