Battery percentage is back in redesigned Fitbit app

Fitbit 4.04 starts rolling out on Apple’s iOS App Store, bringing redesigned UI and battery percentage. Fulfilling user demands, the company showcased the new app user interface last month, which included the battery percentage for trackers and smartwatches.

While the Fitbit 4.04 with battery percentage feature is currently live on iOS, Android users will have access to it soon. The redesign brings a new device pill that includes the battery, and when the battery is low, it will turn red as a prominent reminder.

At present, Fitbit tracker and smartwatch users on Android have to open the Devices page, which only provides an approximation, rather than an exact battery level. However, the old app allowed you to quickly check the battery level by swiping down in the Today tab to initiate a sync.
