Google One VPN no longer breaks Android Auto after an update

Google One is a subscription service that offers various benefits for Android users, such as cloud storage, premium support, and a VPN service. But the VPN service was not working properly on Android Auto but Google has now fixed its compatibility issue.

According to several reports from users, the Google One VPN was breaking Android Auto in its wireless mode, which requires a Wi-Fi connection between the phone and the car. Some users reported that the issue started after updating Android Auto to a newer version and that rolling back to an older version restored the functionality.

However, Google has recently fixed the issue by updating the Google One app, which now lets users add Android Auto to the VPN. This means that users can now use Android Auto wirelessly without disabling the VPN service, as long as they have the latest version of the Google One app installed on their phones.

Google started releasing the fix on October 26, so most users should not encounter the problem anymore. If you are also facing this issue then install the latest version of the Google One app.
