AsiaEconomy reports that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Fit 3 smart band in the first half of 2024. This is interpreted as part of strengthening the healthcare business, which the company is focusing on. Notably, it has been three years since the previous fitness band was released.

“We plan to release the Galaxy Fit 3 within the first half of next year,” said a Samsung official.

In 2024, considering marketing aspects, the plan is to release the Galaxy Fit 3 in the first half and the Galaxy Watch 7 series in the second half. The reason behind the new Fit’s launch is the large fan base of the Galaxy Fit 2, which is still actively traded on used trading sites.

Previously, there was speculation that the South Korean tech giant may unveil the Galaxy Fit 3 at the Galaxy S24’s Unpacked event in January. However, the company official has reportedly dismissed this rumor, saying, “That is not very likely.”
