One hacker exploited a vulnerability, which caused the data breach. The report indicates that people who have an account on the Samsung UK shopping site but didn’t place any order between the aforementioned dates are completely safe from the data breach.

“On 13 November 2023, it was determined that an unauthorized individual exploited a vulnerability in a third-party business application we use, and that some personal information of certain customers who made purchases on SEUK’s eCommerce site between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020, was affected.”

The notice sent by Samsung suggests that affected data may have included names, phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses. Meanwhile, the company “assure you that the issue did not impact your password or financial information.”

Samsung Galaxy Store August 2024 update

Galaxy Store could get a brand new icon identity in One UI 7. While we eagerly await Samsung’s new software, a new leak showing icon shift appeared online. It came after a long delay in such graphical leaks related to One UI 7.

Just three days left in the Samsung Developer Conference 2024. We hope the company will make some important announcements regarding the new software. It could also reveal its work on Android 15 optimization for Galaxies.

Tipster @kro_roe shared a new Galaxy Store icon, which could be from One UI 7. The leaked icon was in low resolution, which was reposted by @GalaxyTechie in high resolution. The new icon is smartly refined over the current icon in One UI 6.

The alleged One UI 7 Galaxy Store icon features a new bag design with a dynamic handle appearance. The background remains filled with elegant gradients, and one of the bag’s handles has also adopted a background color – rendering a circle-like look.

Galaxy users witnessed a lot of fake One UI 7 inputs in July and August. September remained vacant in anticipation of the new software’s Beta release. We can’t validate the authenticity of this icon’s genuineness.

Google has made major strategic changes in Android distribution this year. The company launched its new flagships early and shipped with last year’s Android version. The rollout is expected to start for older Pixel models in mid-October.

On October 3, Samsung will hold the 2024 Developer Conference. The company may share information on its work on the One UI 7 software. We are assuming an important announcement for Galaxy users regarding the rollout schedule.

Samsung won’t like this Galaxy S25 Ultra third-party case leak [Video]

Published

There are over three months left in the Galaxy S25 Ultra debut but frequent leaks may have upset Samsung. The latest leak includes a real-life video of a third-party transparent case, exposing the S25 Ultra design decisions.

IceUniverse posted a video displaying a third-party case of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The case shows Samsung’s upcoming flagship with slightly rounded corners, a backplate with signature design philosophy, and sides and bottom.

The camera sensor placement is almost similar to previous Galaxy S Ultra models. Samsung refined and upgraded the appearance and internal components with each generation. The next model’s frame could also be flat, inspired by the iPhone.

S Pen slot is also included as confirmed in the recent case leak. CAD renders created confusion about the existence of a stylus slot. However, it will live on in the next Ultra, with even deeper Galaxy AI integration anticipated.

Galaxy S25 Ultra is going to be Apple’s biggest headache. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset features a sharp performance upgrade. Recent benchmark scores outperformed the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a stunning margin.

The next Ultra could have a 200MP wide-angle, 50MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and 50MP periscope with 5x optical and 10x optical quality zoom. The ultrawide sensor is upgraded over Galaxy S24 Ultra’s ultrawide.

The design suggests that the S24 Ultra will be the last Samsung flagship with an angular frame design. The curved display was already abandoned with this year’s Ultra, and the flat-screen approach would be continued in future models.
