15 Samsung Apps Introduce Simplified Labels: One UI 6 vs One UI 5
Galaxy device users will notice some subtle changes after the release of Samsung’s Android 14-based One UI 6 update. For example, the names under Samsung app icons have been simplified to make it easier for users to identify apps when they look quickly.

Android 14-based One UI 6 app labels limited app names on Galaxy home screens to one line by removing the words “Samsung” and “Galaxy” from the app names. The appearance is cleaner and clearer, making it easier to find frequently used apps.
