One UI 7.0 update to improve clock format alignment in Samsung devices
Samsung is currently developing both One UI 6.1.1 and an Android 15-based One UI 7.0. The One UI 7 Beta is anticipated to launch in August this year, with the stable release expected in November. A recent report suggests that the One UI 7.0 update is expected to improve the clock format alignment on Samsung devices.
A Galaxy user recently reported an issue with the QuickStar Good Lock module feature when setting the clock format to ‘AM/PM’. A user noted that the icons and battery display do not align correctly with the clock.
Samsung has acknowledged the clock format alignment issue of the QuickStar and aims to address it in the upcoming One UI 7.0 update. A community moderator mentioned that this alignment error becomes particularly noticeable when the device includes Korean or Chinese characters.
However, the moderator has not confirmed this yet. The team is currently reviewing the phenomenon to enhance it in the One UI 7.0 update. Users are encouraged to stay informed about the One UI 7 release, as it promises to deliver a smoother and more consistent experience.
Some reports revealed that One UI 7 could be delayed due to the One UI 6.1.1 update. The next One UI update is as big as One UI 6.1 and will be packed with new Galaxy AI features for the S24 series.
