Samsung fixes One UI 6.0’s widget animations issue w/ One UI Home v15 [Download]
Samsung begins rolling out One UI Home v15.0.05 update for the Galaxy S23 series, addressing the widget animations issue. Following the Android 14 update, the Galaxy S23 smartphone users reported that the widget to homescreen return animations is broken.
Earlier, the company’s community moderator said that the One UI Home v15.1 release will address the broken animations problem. However, the One UI Home v15.0.05 update seems to be fixing the issue on international Galaxy S23 models.

Aside from the widget animations issue fix, app icons also render slightly smaller, providing a cleaner appearance on the homescreen. Notably, the new One UI Home app might not be available on all Galaxy devices as it seems an S23 series-specific version.

Samsung has pushed the September 2024 security patch for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones, following the One UI 6.1.1 update. The latest update improves system security and stability by fixing over 65 issues.
September 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones is currently live for both locked and unlocked models in the US. The company will expand this update in more countries soon. Users can check the firmware versions below.

Notably, the latest patch fixes 1 critical and 43 high-level security issues for Google. In addition, Samsung fixes 23 security fixes for My Files, Theme Center, One UI Home, Knox, and Dex to make your experience better.
You can also check the update by visiting the Settings app on your smartphone and opening the Software Update section. Now, click on the Download and install option.
