1. Separate picture resolution button

One UI 6.0 adds a separate picture resolution button in the camera quick settings menu, which lets you easily change the resolution of your photos by tapping the 12M button.

You can choose from different resolutions, such as 3M, 8M, 12M, or 64M, depending on your device’s camera capabilities and your preferences. This way, you can adjust the quality and size of your photos without going to the camera settings.

2. Separate video size button

Similarly, One UI 6.0 also adds a separate video size button in the video quick settings menu, which allows you to select the video resolution and frame rate by tapping the FHD 30 button at the top.

3. Custom camera widget

One UI 6.0 introduces a new feature called Custom camera widget, which lets you quickly launch the camera app with your saved settings.

You can create a Custom camera widget by long-pressing the camera app icon and selecting “Add widget”. You can also edit the name for your Custom camera widget using “Title on widget”.

4. Swipe up/down to switch cameras

One UI 6.0 also adds a new option in the camera settings called “Swipe up/down to switch cameras”, which enables or disables the swipe gesture to switch between the selfie and rear cameras. You can turn this option on or off depending on your preference.
