Samsung Galaxy A52 5G begins receiving December 2023 security update in the US

Samsung started rolling out the December 2023 security update earlier this week with the Galaxy S23 series and the company is now making it available for the Galaxy A52 5G smartphone. The update is live for locked Galaxy A52 5G models in the US and the company will soon expand it.

December 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy A52 5G smartphone arrives with One UI build version A526USQSCEWK3 in the US. The latest update installs the newest security patch to improve system security.

According to official destails, Samsung’s December 2023 security patch fixes over 60 security flaws, of which 50 are of Google and others of Samsung. These include buffer overflow, AR Emoji, KnoxCustom Service, bootloader, SmartManager, Knox Guard, and Contacts.

It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all eligible models. You can check and install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.
