After One UI 6, Samsung Galaxy A73 bags December 2023 security update

Samsung Galaxy A73 smartphone is getting a new update with a December 2023 security patch to improve system security and stability by fixing dozens of security flaws that were discovered in the previous version of the software running on phones and tablets.

December 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy A73 can be identified through One UI build version A736BXXS6DWL2. The update is currently rolling out in Asian countries including Malaysia and the company will expand it soon.

The latest security patch includes over 60 fixes for known security issues, of which 50 are of Google and others of Samsung. These include buffer overflow, AR Emoji, KnoxCustom Service, bootloader, SmartManager, Knox Guard, and Contacts.

It is a gradual rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models. This update is available for Galaxy A73 models running Android 14-based One UI 6.0. You can get the latest update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.
